| I am sick of hearing people talk about love like it is just something to throw around. People who do not know what love is, who have never experienced true love, should not talk about it like they know. If you think you might be in love, you are not in love. You know love, you know in the first sentance, you know in the first look. Not necessarily love at first sight, but the feeling is there, it grows stronger over time, but it was there from the beginning. Love is not infatuation, it is not just attraction or affection. It is a feeling of need, passion and constant renewal. The feeling that you would rather be miserable with that one person (if thats what it takes) than be happy with anyone else. Whether you are religious or not love makes you thank God because there is no way that something this perfect happened by accident. It's not about this makeout sessions, or public displays of affection, but about the kisses on the forehead and rubbing of thumbs while holding hands. It's not about knowing her favorite color, but knowing that the color of her eyes change depending on her outfit. It takes the perfect combination of tears and laughter, ease and effort, and mixes them with brief glimpses of devine happiness...these are the moments you live for.
True love is desired by all, attainable by most, and accomplished by few...but hey, that's just my opinion, and afterall, what do I know?
| Dear Lawrence,
It has been quite some time since we have been able to see eachother, I hope you have been good to my friends. I will be returning to you in all my glory this weekend, so make up my bed and have a beer cold and ready. I know during the school year I may have scorned you, kicked you, and even cursed you, but Lawrence, you know I love you. I'm coming home Lawrence, and I promise to never leave again....until winter break....then Ill be with Keystone...but thats beside the point. See you soon old friend, unitl then, take care, be safe, and please...do something about those pot holes.
Love, Dan

| New entry, new pic, and new theme…man, you guys aren’t even going to know what hit you. This is the result of someone having too much time to waste while sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day.
Summer’s been good to me, two building designs and a few road trips later I’m still alive and ready for more. Bartlesville, OK has been an alright place to hang out for a few months but I’m ready to get back to Lawrence for some good nights out and some strong games of slosh ball. (Go here for official rules: http://www.drinkinggames.info/games/Sloshball.php )

...classic! If you want to play some time leave a comment and let me know Ill give you a yell, we got in about 6 or 7 games last year....or if you just want to let me know you still care...show some love. (aka give me something to read while Im at work) Alright, I'm out like me in a dance contest...
| Only 8 days of classes left and I will officially be out for summer. Here we go.....
...and just over 3 months till float trip '05....
| Goodbye winter, we'll all miss you, but bring on shorts and flipflops!
Spring has got to be the best thing ever made, warm weather, storms, everything new....that God pretty much knows his stuff.
